The Residence Margherita is located in Tortoreto Lido, bathing city chosen every year by thousands of people coming from Italy and from other countries, thanks to its sany beaches and the clear waters, awarded from 1998 to 2017 with the Blue Flag. The low bottoms are also suitable for children, indeed the beaches in Tortoreto have been awarded also with the Green Flag by the pediatricians.

Tortoreto has also a old village on a hill in a panoramic view, that represents the historical city center and is only few minutes far from our Residence.

Here is where can be appreciated the remains of the village, that dated back to the Middle age, when Tortoreto were a feud of the Normans.

During the centuries a lot of dominations happened, among them those of the Acquaviva and that one of the Neapolitan Kingdom, at least up to the Italian Unification in 1860.
